Graphic design portfolios are the most important things in the career of the graphics designers. Now you must be thinking why these portfolios are so much important and why everybody asks for a graphic design portfolio from a graphic design when the designer appears in an interview. Basically a graphic design portfolio represents the previous work of the designer and the capabilities of the designer. The portfolio of the graphic designer represents the whole work done by the graphic designer till date and the level of creativity of the designer. For a graphic designing student who has just completed the program must have a portfolio and he/she can attach the work done by him during the program duration to show his level of creativity. Every work, assignment or the task given to a graphic designing student during the duration of his graphic designing program should be kept safe so that later it may be attached to the portfolio. The field of graphic designing is very big and vast. It allows you do get a part time job while you study the program and that is also the main reason why more and more students are getting jobs and opting for this field. By doing the job in designing field even before the course completion allows the students to explore the field and give them the idea about the market they are going to enter and work in after the completion of the program. You can also mention you part time job during the program in your portfolio in order to make it strong and more attractive. Summer trainings and industrial experiences make the portfolio more strong and attractive. You know that there are experts of designing in the companies and they get idea of your level of creativity just by looking at your portfolio and the 70 percent of the interview is complete just after the inspection of the portfolio.
